my name is Sara! ☺️

I am one of the mangers here at Pups. My parents and I started Pups 4 years ago as of May 23rd (Holy poop!), with the goal to provide a safe & loving environment for pups of all sizes and breeds. In my free time I love to read my books (if you have any recommendations, send em my way!!), workout with my fiancée, walk my dogs, snuggle my Meenu & hang with my chickens! My favorite breed is any mixed/rescue as I have two of my own & a stray cat i rescued off the street about a year ago! My favorite part of my job is getting to know each and every pup, their unique personalities & making our yards as fulfilling for everyone as possible!

Hi 👋, I’m Liz! 

I previously worked in the medical field for 10ish years before coming to pups about 3 years ago. I saw the positive impact they had on my foster dog at the time (Hector the naughty bassador!) and was hoping I could come close to doing the same for somebody else. My favorite part of my job is wrestling with the dogs/getting them worked up for Sara 🤪 and building relationships with pet parents (because let’s be honest, I like to yap). If I had to choose a favorite breed I’m a hound girl through and through, I have 3 of my own at home (Pipah, Ham Dawgg, Bandit) and foster for a basset hound rescue. Don’t get me wrong, I like the loud ones but GSDs have a very special place in my heart 🫶🏽. Outside of work I enjoy hiking/spending time with my husband Tyler, reading, spending time with my fluffy chickens and lolly gagging my way through a thrift store.

Hi, I’m Amber 😁 (our resident zombie who’s always cold)! 

I was born and raised in Boston, and moved to Maine in 2016.  I’ve always had a passion for animals, and have been working with dogs since 2020. I love being able to meet so many pups, and getting to know all of their different personalities. When I’m not at work I enjoy reading, spending time with my 4 dogs, and hanging out with my flock of chickens, ducks, and geese! My favorite dog breed is probably Australian Shepherds, but I have a big soft spot for small dogs.

Hey, I’m Abby! 

I’ve been working with dogs since I was 14 and have loved it ever since! My favorite breed are Labs, but I definitely have a soft spot for German Shepherds too. I love getting to know all the dogs different personalities and watching the puppies grow into amazing dogs. I have two dogs of my own a pug and a lab and also a bunny. Outside of work, I’m all about being outdoors. I love taking my dogs swimming and hiking. I also love concerts, traveling, and spending time with my family!

Hi, I’m Zari! 

I’m going to be a Senior in high school and I started working for pups because of my love for dogs. My favorite part of working here is having a wonderful staff that I appreciate so very much and most of all spending time playing with the dogs and watching them play with each other. My favorite breed is definitely a German shepherd, I love love love their personalities and the love they have for humans. In my spare time I enjoy playing sports, I love soccer, track and have previously played basketball and tennis. I also like hanging out with friends when I get the chance and of course I can’t forget shopping!! 🛍️ 🛒

I’m a Freshman ant CMMC and I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. My favorite kind of dog is either a golden retriever or a chocolate lab. My favorite thing about working at pups is being able to play and have fun with dogs. I also play sports in my free time and have been playing 3 sports since I was 4 years old

i am a Senior at oak hill high school, and i started this job around 3 years ago because i love dogs and love working with people. my favorite breed is french bulldog (i have my own frenchie named lulu) and outside of work i play lots and lots of soccer!
